Convenient Synthesis of 2-Alkynylbenzazoles Through Sonogashira Cross--Coupling Reaction Between Thioethers and Terminal Alkynes. -The coupling reaction proceeds under aerobic conditions with aromatic and aliphatic alkynes to give 2-alkynyl substituted benzoxazoles and benzothiazoles.
