AbstractThis paper is a theoretical reviews of research in the field of organizational behavior. The purpose of the study is to reflect on how business productivity increases when corporate welfare is promoted. The model theoretical created titled «Generator model of the Culture of Innovation applying Happiness Management» has been divided into several phases, with an outline of the steps which must interact to provide solutions to problems in organizations in the current century. Current trends of management are beginning to consider the principles or philosophy of "Happiness Management" as future trends that can be applied to any organization, regardless of the sector where they operate. That is the reason why nowadays, it is necessary to implement cultures willing to get competitive and sustainable results in the company, thereby renewing in the first place corporate welfare and, consequently, its labor productivity, and secondly improving organizational performance generating competitiveness. Finally, the culture of innovation based on increasing corporate welfare improves the image of the company, being it projected in a positive way towards all its stakeholders.
The objective of this research is to analyze empirically the role played by corporate image and core competitive of manufacturing SMEs on export performance. The results show the positive effect of competitive core on export performance, as well as the mediator effect of corporate image on internal management development to outward. The research model also incorporates the relational capital to analyze its effect on export performance, highlighting the importance of this aspect to grow and compete in the international area of manufacturing SMEs. Therefore, managers should focus on design and managing proper their corporate image, also in order to compete and grow in the international area.
New developments in software projects for the construction sector are a technological revolution and provide new methods of infrastructure design and modeling, highlighting the Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM is a technology and methodology used in the most developed countries and little by little this technology is being implemented in other countries where its use is increasing. This new work methodology makes it easier to manage and plan new projects, saving time and minimizing costs. The advantages of using BIM stand out in large projects thanks to the better handling of large volumes of information. This article will address, with the example of using BIM technology, the design project of a fictitious university sports pavilion located in Seville (Spain). Using the BIM Edificius® software, the 3D modeling of this building will be carried out in order to calculate and design the building’s facilities with CYPECAD MEP® software, making use of the IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) format to exchange the building design between both programs.
JEL: O30, Q20, Q50. ABSTRACTThe present article aims to show the role of sustainable development, emphasizing the important role that it plays in companies and the territory. In a new vision of circular economy, sustainable development becomes a source capable of generating eco-innovation and productive models based on the new "green" economy. In short, it aims to give a holistic view of sustainable development and reflect on their impact on the collective happiness of the territories, a very relevant inssue today, but there is not enough research to explain these relationships according to the information consulted for the preparation of this article.
PurposeBuilding information modeling (BIM) is a growing technology and methodology for project design in the construction industry. However, when the project design team designs with BIM in a free-form manner (without a qualified instructor), it is not clear how behavior or trust might develop among project team members, nor if there are variables that might influence the improvement of such collaboration.Design/methodology/approachA sample of 92 responses was obtained from managers of project design firms in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) sector. The questionnaire data were analyzed using partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM).FindingsThis paper provides an explanation, from a happiness management perspective, to reflect on the importance of establishing policies to enhance effective communication between project team members in BIM design, as it improves trust between team members and their collaborators, developing the overall satisfaction of all the agents involved in the project.Originality/valueThe researchers suggest that there is a gap in the literature on how effective communication influences the implementation of BIM methodology.
