AbstractSince mid-2016, Europe has been facing a major hepatitis A epidemic, with more than 25 000 cases reported to the European CDC, in 2018. We describe herein a rare case of invasive HAV meningoencephalitis as a prodrome of the classic hepatitis, which largely explains a delay in diagnosis.
