Double layer inflating safe cushion made of rubber and plastic or foam is developed to replace original foam inside bumper, the performance test of the designed safe cushion indicates the cushions advantage of lightweight and shrinkability, while the CAE simulated analysis proves that the cushion can protect pedestrians better and reduce the weight, showing a vast development potential.
In order to improve the safety of buses, based on the research of bus tyre pressure and temperature monitoring system, the control strategy of independent safety control system is proposed, namely in the tyre abnormal initial sound warning prompt, later will enter the fault mode engine "limp home", limiting the power and velocity of the engine, but in the tyre burst or rapid leak the emergency braking control system can take effects for bus, while the engine is "idle" working mode, the driver controls the direction of travel and brake on the bus is just as input of emergency braking control system. Compared with the traditional tyre pressure monitoring system, the system can not only realize the tyre pressure abnormal warning, but also realize the emergency brake control, and the safety of control system which has been installed on the VDS A01 models achieve the basic performance requirements for our design. It has good practical value.
In order to reduce the cost of coach collision test in R & D process, coach collision test control system is designed by using automatic driving technology. The pseudo collision vehicles run along the longitudinal center line independently, till collide with fixed obstacles. In the coach, PID control theory is used to design and research the control on speed and turn, then install the controller and the corresponding sensors, which is in accordance with the requirements of impact test technology. The experiment results show that, maximum deviation of the test vehicle longitudinal center line coincidence degree is +125mm and-115mm respectively, the speed is still steady by driving straight to accelerate to the required speed of the collision, the design scheme is feasible.
