Abandoned cats and dogs have the right to a decent life. In Indonesia, there are still many abandoned cats and dogs with various conditions that are not good. This research aims to design the right crowdfunding platform that can answer community problems in improving animal welfare. Respondents in this study were pet lovers (cat/dog lovers). Data is obtained by filling out questionnaires in in-depth interviews. The method used in this study is design thinking. This method can solve user-centered problems. The design thinking stages include empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The results showed that crowdfunding is one solution to solve the problems and challenges faced by the community in caring for abandoned cats/dogs. The design of a verified business model in the form of a crowdfunding platform for abandoned cats and dogs named Care-pet is a solution that can improve animal welfare.
Indonesia has a high penetration users of smart phone occupied 4th position behind China, India, and US. The utilization of smart phone should be contributed positive matter to its users, once increasing reading habbit. We argued that so important to user to find some nonfiction books information related to their needs and desires, and high potential platform business model development. This paper aims to map a relation between users experience in exploring and reading of nonfiction books to platform business development opportunities. The study was human centre and qualitative approach, conducted by user experience analysis with empathy mapping canvas and customer journey mapping approach, then conducted mind mapping for synthesis problems as user experiences. The result shown the frequently user problems are lacked of nonfiction books information, lacked of reading motivation, constrained on purchasing or rent the book, lacked of book reading management. By solving those problems should drive to ideate developing platform based human centered design and shown highly potential market platform for special user book reader and generally smart phone users.
The Positive growth of automotive industry presents XYZ as an integrated digital automotive platform, which serve e-commerce for new and second hand vehicles. Since XYZ Platform launched, has not contributed to company’s sales growth as well. In spite of macro and micro economic factors, we argue lack of value proposition provided by company. This paper aims to analyze XYZ platform value creation in relation to map business strategy. The study was qualitative research. Value proposition canvas, brand consideration matrix, four-step framework were conducted as tools analysis. Result shown the consumer have a low level of product knowledge and brand consideration of XYZ Platform, even though its value fit with consumer expectation. Furthermore, VPC 1.0 were formulated as business strategy to enhance XYZ Platform Session leads to transaction by considering seven functional element and two emotional elements.
A recent trend of alternative feed made from expired sausage in traditional fish farm could reduce 20%-25% of production cost. However, expired sausage suspected as hazardous food since it contains pathogenic microbes that cause a serious problem in farmed fish health and it can be carried to human health. This paper aims to propose a method to map a relation between feeding management and farm productivity in relation to the potential risk of expired sausage as an alternative feed to fish and human health. The study was conducted by reviewing available literature of fish feeding management, alternative feed and its pathogenic microbes related to fish farm productivity. Then we linked and mapped the results with the potential risk in fish and human health using hazard analysis.
