The eoluMHtlee of 1-hexadecanol and 1-octadecanol In carbon dioxide have been measured by a phase equilibrium apparatus over the temperature ranges from 308 to 328 K and from 302 to 338 K, respectively, at pressures from 50 to 205 bar. For each Isotherm the mole fraction solubilities of 1-hexadecanol and 1-octadecanol In carbon dioxide are correlated with the reduced density and reduced pressure of the pure solvent.
