Introduction: Doppler ultrasound enables a better understanding of the hemodynamic changes and has therefore become one of the most important clinical tools for fetomaternal surveillance in high risk pregnancies. It can be credited with causing a significant decrease in perinatal mortality and morbidity. The objective of the study was to analyse the Doppler flow patterns by ultrasound in high risk pregnancies, and also compare these patterns with that of normal pregnancies.
