The stability of future power networks is getting influenced by the features of sustainable energy sources. Thus, a method of stability indication, which can combine the stochastic behavior of the renewable energy sources and the deterministic way of stability analysis, is of interest. This paper introduces an analytical method of small disturbance angle stability indication in future power systems. By applying this method, the impacts of stochastic characteristics of sustainable energy sources on the concept of angle stability are considered. In this paper, the definition of small disturbance angle stability for future power systems is reviewed and an iterative-stochastic method of analysis for this type of stability is presented. Also, the suggested iterativestochastic methodology is numerically verified by getting applied to an electric power test system.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
