Transfer of radioactive particles in the environment is an important issue important for both radiobiology and radioecology. The article presents an analysis of the main patterns of “hot” radioactive particles transport in the digestive tract of monogastric animals (rats, guinea pigs and pigs), which serve as reference organisms in the tasks of assessing the radiation risk of environmental contamination. The models of particle transport in the gastrointestinal tract of monogastric animals were developed and their parameters were estimated.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
