LTE (Long Term Evolution) is becoming the fastest growing mobile communications technology ever. IEEE 802.11 and IEEE 802.15 standards is also developing on the other side.
IEEE 802.11 standards (WLAN-Wireless Local area Network) provides higher data rates and less coverage. In the next generation networks, it is very important to increase the coverage area and efficiency of WLAN standards. Hence WLAN network coverage can be increased by adopting LTE network as a backhaul network to provide seamless convergence. In this paper interworking of WLAN with an LTE network with the help of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is proposed to achieve betterQoS. Here QoS Performance metrics of Integrated WLAN-LTE architecture such as data bytes sent, data bytes received, average delay and network throughput are analyzed
In this paper a heterogeneous network model based on the IMS-SIP (session Initiation protocol) with the help of Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
