MeOH (phendo = 1,10-phenanthroline-

of the magnetization characteristic for Single Ion Magnets (SIM),
despite negligible magnetic anisotropy, confirmed by ab initio calculations.
Solid state dilution magnetic and EPR studies reveal that the magnetization
dynamics of the [Gd(phendo)

cation is controlled
mainly by a Raman process. Pulsed EPR experiments demonstrate long
phase memory times (up to 2.7 μs at 5 K), enabling the detection
of Rabi oscillations at 20 K, which confirms coherent control of its
spin state.
ErIII complexes are potential candidates for high-performance single molecule magnets (SMMs) just after DyIII. Herein, we thoroughly explore the under-represented class of neutral pseudo-tetrahedral ErIII SMMs and demonstrate their exceptional...
Octacyanidometallates have been proven to be very useful molecular building blocks for the construction of various molecular materials with a strong emphasis on magnetic properties. However, their availability is still limited due to the preparation difficulties. Existing methods for their preparation consume large amounts of cyanide and require prolonged time [a]
Propeller-like lanthanide complexes with suitable chiral ligand scaffolds are highly desired as they combine chirality and magnetic bistability. However, the library of relevant chiral molecules is quite limited. Herein we...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
