Corporate social responsibility can be a narrative in many different ways, from one's personal and social intentions to coming together to forge toward the collective goals of empowerment. Corporate social responsibility is already on its way to replace human social responsibility. The study involves the study of the standing on CSR activity and its relationship between CSR spending and value creation. This article, however, argues that much of the past literature reviewed the complex process of interaction and negotiation evolving between businesses and consumers. This study is focusing on reflecting a clearer picture of brand interaction, challenges, and exchanges within the disclosure and consumer perception of CSR. Then, the chapter will identify the relationship between CSR and value creation. In this chapter, the authors are going to discuss the practical and theoretical implications, as well as give suggestions for future research.
In the food delivery sector, the usage of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has grown significantly. An important player in the Indian market for online food ordering and delivery, Swiggy, has been looking into how AI could improve its business processes and customer support. This topic intends to analyze the research on artificial intelligence (AI) utilisation in the food delivery sector and investigate its possible uses for Swiggy. The paper covers several AI applications and their effects on many business elements, such as logistics optimization algorithms, NLP-based chat bots, and picture recognition-based recommendation systems. According to the study, Swiggy could boost customer service, increase delivery efficiency, and give users tailored recommendations if it used AI. However, it is essential to assure the moral use of AI and address any potential privacy and prejudice issues. The study comes to the conclusion that AI offers a lot of potential for enhancing Swiggy's business processes and customer service, which would eventually improve customer satisfaction and retention. To do the findings of this topic the sample size of 400 restaurants were taken into account to know the customer preference and the service provided by the restauramt partners in the Swiggy platform and to rectify there problems and issues faced by them in accepting the orders and their online presence in the Swiggy app so that there customer ratings and service can be increased.
Though ethical leadership and the well-being of employees have been important topics of discussion for research in recent years, just a few studies have looked at the impact of ethical leadership on employee well-being. This chapter aims to examine the effect of ethical leadership on the well-being of employees in the manufacturing firm and to examine the mediating role of employee engagement. The purposive sampling method was used to collect the data through a structured questionnaire, and a total of 264 responses were collected, which were analyzed on Smart PLS version 3.3.2. The findings suggest that there exists a strong correlation between EL and EWB. Also, there is a strong mediation of EE on the relationship between EE and EWB. The theory builds upon and suggests a strong mediating relationship between EL and EWB when EE acts as a mediator. The finding also suggests that the employees can be engaged in an organization to improve performance through EL.
India has experienced one of the fastest economic growth rates in the world which has been a dramatic driver in the nature and scale of impact on the country’s environment and natural resources. Environmental risks and problems are widening. The issues of managing environment impacts are capturing public attention. Modernization and technology up-gradation is a continuous process for any growing industry and is equally true for the cement industry. With increasing awareness of environmental protection worldwide, the green trend of conserving the Earth’s resources and protecting the environment is overwhelming, thereby exerting pressure on corporations in India. The pressure and drive accompanying globalization has prompted enterprises to improve their environmental performance (Zhu and Sarkis, 2006). Consequently, corporations have shown growing concern for the environment over the past ten years (Sheu, et al., 2005). The pressure on corporations to improve their environmental performances comes from globalization rather than localization (Sarkis and Tamarkin, 2005). Increasing environmental concern has gradually become part of the overall corporation culture and, in turn, has helped to reengineer the strategies of corporations (Madu, et al., 2002).
