Technological regulations for the production of a complex feed additive for highly productive animals have been developed. Its composition of milk thistle seeds and biologically active substances (probiotic, betaine and vitamin E) is justified. Technological regimes for processing milk thistle seeds, preparing a premix from biologically active substances, methods for preparing and mixing components, and controlling the quality of products have been worked out on the serial equipment of the feed shop (crusher, mobile conveyor, Doza feed unit). The technological line for the preparation of raw materials and the production of feed additives was developed using the principle of cyclic-periodic operation of the equipment available in the feed shop. An experimental sample of the feed additive was made with the following composition, in % by weight: milk thistle seed -92.76; probiotic "Profort" - 6.00; betaine hydrochloride (97%) - 1.20; vitamin E (50%) - 0.04 (the activity of the drug is indicated in brackets). The use of this feed additive in the diet of highly productive dry cows in the amount of 0.4 kg per day per head increases the milk productivity of animals by 4.3%. The use of the feed agent contributed to a reduction in the time for separation of the placenta compared with control animals by 2.4 hours. Animals from the group that received the supplement with feed were characterized by better reproductive ability. After 44 days they were inseminated after calving, from the control group were inseminated after 79 days, or 35 days later. An additive from milk thistle seeds and biologically active substances can be made on farms using existing equipment.
Currently, the country’s industrial pig breeding uses mainly imported granulated compound feed and expensive enrichment additives containing protein products with different processing technologies, and biologically active substances. This leads to an increase in the cost of pig products. Alternative to imported analogues complex enrichment additive for prestarter feed from domestic raw materials has been developed, the use of which has been scientifically justified. The basis of this additive is soya and lupin with different processing methods, corn gluten, fish meal and milk whey, as well as biologically active substances. Optimal modes of extrusion of soya, fl ax seeds, grain feed, processing additives and granulated feed under the conditions of the feed mill have been worked out. Tests of granulated compound feeds with experimental and imported processing additives on piglets of suckling age have been carried out at the pig breeding complex. It has been established that the qualitative characteristics of the granulated compound feed with additives and processing subjects were almost equal. As the result of their use on the large number of pigs, high livability of off spring was ensured and almost equal indicators of live weight of young animals at 24-day age were obtained at the level of 253–254 g. At the same time, the level of hemoglobin in the blood was high at 119,7–120,6 g/l, and the young animals of the experimental group had the advantage in the content of γ-globulins by 1,92 %, which indicates the higher immune status of the animals of the experimental group. Studies have shown that granulated compound feed with the complex enrichment additive of domestic production is cheaper than imported by 29,76 %. This is economically beneficial for the farm.
The purpose - improve the quality of pig farming production through the use of functional feed additive at the final stage of feeding. The additive ingredients (in %): vitamin E - 0,32; vitamin D₃ - 0,30; vitamin C - 0,30; vitamin B₄ - 1,56; vitamin B₁₂ - 0,004; betaine - 10,00; %; bentonite - 77,166; Omek J – 0,15%; selen - 0,2 %; soya flour (filling substance) - 10,00. Components activity: vitamin E-50,0 of %; D₃ - 0,15,0 thousand ME in 1g; B₄ - 60,0 %; B₁₂ - 1,0%; Omek J - 2,0%; seleno-KI - 0,2 %. The functional feed additive is approved on fattened pigs of large white breed. Animals from control group received the mixed fodder constantly used in a factory, skilled - same as well as control, but the containing 1 % of the additive within 10 days before slaughter. Growth, some indicators of a metabolism, quality of meat are studied.
A technology has been developed for the production of special feed additives for highly productive animals. The composition of the feed additive based on flax seeds, corn and biologically active substances (bioplexes of iodine, selenium, vitamin E) has been scientifically substantiated. Technological modes of extruding a mixture of flax and corn, preparing a premix from biologically active substances, methods of preparing and mixing components and controlling the quality of products have been worked out on the farm, on the equipment of the feed shop (extruder, crusher, mobile conveyor, unit for the production of compound feed "Doza").Technological lines for the preparation of raw materials and the production of enriching feed additives for animal husbandry are developed on the basis of the cyclicperiodic use of the equipment available in the feed shop. Experimental samples of Omegalen-1 and Omegalen-2 additives were obtained. The composition of the additive "Omegalen-2", in% by weight: flaxseed - 70; corn scum - 29.83; vitamin E (50) - 0.007; Seleno-Ki (0.25) - 0.007; OMEK-J (2.5) - 0.003; table salt (preservative) - 0.153, the activity of the drug is given in brackets. It has been established that the use of this additive in the diet of highly productive cows in the amount of 0.5-1.0 kg per day during the milking period increases the milk productivity of animals by 16.4%. The technology for the preparation of feed additives is simple and easily applicable to farm conditions.
The purpose of the research was to elucidate the eff ect of compound feed containing an experimental concentrate intended to improve the performance of pork, when it is used at the fi nal stage of fattening pigs. The composition of the concentrate (%) was: vitamin E-0,32; vitamin D3 – 0,30; vitamin C - 0,30; vitamin B4 – 1,56; vitamin B12 – 0,004; betaine – 10,00; bentonite – 77,166; soy fl our (fi ller) – 10,00. Activity of drugs was: vitamin E - 50,0 %; D3 – 15,0 thousand. IU in 1 g; B4 -60,0 %; B12 – 1,0 %; Omec J - 2,0 %; selenium-KI – 0,2 %. Testing of the concentrate under production conditions has been carried out on two groups of pigs (n=24.) of Large White breed. The control group of animals has been received farm’s compound feed and experimental group has been received together with the compound feed experimental concentrate in the amount of 1,0 % within 10 days prior to slaughter. The average live weight of pigs when the enter to the experiment amounted to 95,7–95,8 kg when the fi nish it was 114,1–114,7 kg. Gut microbiocenosis and some biochemical parameters of pig meat have been studied. The average daily gain in live weight in pigs receiving compound feed containing concentrate increased by 2,8 %. There was an improvement in the biological value of pork protein due to the higher content of essential amino acids in it by 0,44 %. Meat samples have been obtained from animals from the experimental group exceeded the control ones by the amount of tryptophan, leucine, isoleucine in them signifi cantly. Protein-quality indicator of meat from animals of the experimental group exceeded the control samples by 3,35 units. The moisture-binding capacity of meat from animals from the experimental group was higher by 6,0 % (P < 0,05), and the color intensity by 3,0 units of extinction (P < 0,05), which is consistent with a higher hemoglobin content in the blood by 1,5 g/l. The meat of experimental animals has been characterized by the increased content of ribofl avin, biotin and folic acid. Tasting evaluation of meat and broth gave positive results.
