Treatment with self-injections of vasoactive drugs in diabetic men with severe ED is a safe and effective alternative in the long term. Diabetic men of both types show the same preferences in quality and quantity of treatment after 10 years. The key point for maintenance in treatment is the adjustment of the therapeutic method and dosage to optimal levels for satisfactory erections.
We report the case of a 43-year-old woman with adult Wilms' tumor. Imaging studies confirmed the presence of a 25 x 20 x 12 cm mass in the left kidney. A radical transabdominal nephrectomy was performed. Histological diagnosis was adult Wilms' tumor. Postoperative chemotherapy was offered to the patient who remains disease-free 67 months postoperatively. There are a few reported cases of this entity and till today the best treatment options and the prognosis remain unclear.
We present a new case of leiomyosarcoma, a very rare clinical entity, arising from the renal pelvis. The primary diagnosis, based on asymptomatic gross hematuria and imaging findings, was tumor of the left kidney. After a left radical nephro-ureterectomy, histology confirmed a leiomyosarcoma of the renal pelvis. No adjuvant treatment was provided and the patient remains healthy 3 years after surgery.
