The article carried out a deep technical and economic analysis of existing samples of quarry vehicles. The modern technical level of the mining industry is determined by performing a patent search and review of literature on this topic. The main problems associated with the operation of mining vehicles in mining are considered. The basic requirements for the development of a perspective dump truck have been formed.
Рассмотрена проблема прогрессирующего обрушения в блоках покрытий промышленных зданий, когда разрушение одной стропильной фермы приводит к обрушению блока. Проведен обзор экспериментальных исследований элементов конструкций блоков покрытий. Приведена методика экспериментальных исследований блоков покрытий при аварийных воздействиях. Представлены результаты экспериментальных исследований и численного моделирования модели блока покрытия, выполнен сравнительный анализ. Beginning with the 20th century metal structures are widely used in the construction branch in Russia. The reason for it was in the development of calculation methods of structures. Beginning with 1930 and till now a substantial number of the industrial buildings (about 90 %) of production plants have been built of metal structures. The essential part of them - 20…60 % of the whole volume - has block coverings consisting of bearing and braced elements. At the present time the data on the operation duration of industrial structures is not systemized throughout Russia. This data may serve as one of characteristic factors for estimating safety operation level, because while the operation term increases, the wear also increases (mechanical damages), which influences the bearing capacity of the structures. The following article examines the collapse of industrial building coverings that may be accompanied not only by material losses, but also by fatal accidents. Statistical data of damageability of trusses and their elements are presented; the consequences of collapse are examined. The average life time of trusses is determined which is serving as a criteria that characterizes damage accumulation. The nature of the collapse of block coverings is revealed which, in most cases, may be classified as progressive.
Due to the increasing demands for environmental friendliness and fuel economy of cars, the task of reducing their weight is becoming topical. One of the promising ways to solve this problem is the use of composite materials for the manufacture of automotive body. The body of the car is subjected not only to static and slowly changing dynamic loads, but also can be subjected to impact loading. Therefore, it is necessary to assess the effectiveness of the use of composite materials for the manufacture of elements responsible for energy absorption. The paper analyzes the features of energy absorption during the destruction of composite structures, describes the ongoing processes and gives recommendations on the design of composite front rails. To assess the effectiveness of the composite front rail, a simulation of process of its crushing is carried out. To confirm the performance of the design, a crash test of a car with a composite energy absorbing structure is simulated.
