The study approached the application of the Value Stream Mapping and Earned Value analysis methods in a Pinch Bottom with Simple Fold (PBSF) paper bag production line in an industrial packaging enterprise of multiwall paper bags located in Brazil. From the joint application of the mentioned methods, a better diagnosis of the situation was obtained, and the opportunities of eliminating wastes, of operation enhancement, and of a better monitoring of the involved costs appeared, bringing potential production gains and quality to the enterprise. As a contribution of this work, it can be highlighted the presentation and discussion about the complementarity of a Lean Manufacturing tool with a Project Management Methodology.
Pode-se dizer que em se tratando de produção industrial os desperdícios que podem ocorrer ao longo dos processos são diversos, vão de matéria-prima à recursos financeiros. No entanto pode-se classificar o desperdício de matéria-prima como sendo o mais urgente deste setor e também o mais passivo de ser estudado, uma vez que impacta diretamente no fluxo fabril e na quantidade do produto acabado. O conteúdo desta pesquisa apresenta argumentos através de embasamento teórico e prático que apontam para a importância de trabalhos sobre as possíveis causas do problema do desperdício de matéria-prima nas linhas industriais de embalagem de papel assim como as formas de combater e reagir ao problema.DOI:10.5585/gep.v4i3.186
Industry 4.0 driven by the internet of things (IoT) is changing the way of producing and has been offering smart manufacturing systems with support technologies for the digital transformation of manufacturing plants seeking improvements in productivity, in control over the process, and customisation of production, among others. Due to these technological developments, small and medium-sized industries have been identified as a weak link in adapting their processes and resources, where they are usually the biggest victims in the transition to industry 4.0. The evidence points out that the excess data inserted in the databases of the manufacturing system of the industries influences the decision-making process of managers, making the process more complex and dynamic. This research focuses on a systematic literature review to assess how data-based performance measurements for machines are being handled in the context of industry 4.0. The methodological approach follows the application of the PROKNOW-C (Knowledge Development Process-Constructivist) method used to build a Bibliographic Portfolio in a structured way in line with the research theme. The results presented in the Bibliometric Analysis enabled the construction of a performance measurement model based on the sources of the researched articles.
RESUMOO artigo propõe-se a relacionar os estilos de liderança como geradores de sustentabilidade organizacional, delimitado no estudo da motivação e a inluencia causada pelos estilos de lideranças sobre a motivação. Pretende-se deinir o que é motivação e a possibilidade da utilização de diferentes estilos de liderança para motivar colaboradores, uma vez que colaboradores motivados geram maiores resultados. O estudo foi deinido a partir da necessidade de esclarecer se os líderes tem inluência sobre a motivação de seus liderados, sendo que na empresa pesquisada encontrou uma variação na motivação nos colaboradores. Diante dos fatos o objetivo é a identiicação dos fatores que podem auxiliar a constante busca da sustentabilidade organizacional na empresa "Instituição Financeira de Pinhais". A metodologia cientíica utilizada para a pesquisa de campo através o método de pesquisa bibliográico e quantitativo-descritivo de veriicação de hipótese.
ABSTRACTThe article proposes to relate the leadership styles how organizational sustainability generators, delimiting in the study of the motivation and inluence caused by leadership styles about the motivation. Intending to deine what is motivation and the possibility of using diferent leadership styles to motivate the employees, once which are motivated generates greater results. The study was deined with start to necessity to clarify whether the leaders have inluence on the motivation of their team, being that company researched was found variation on the motivation in employees. Before the facts the goal is to identify the factors that can assist the constant pursuit of organizational sustainability on the company "Instituição Financeira de Pinhais." The scientiic methodology used was the search ield through of the method of literature and quantitative descriptive research hypothesis veriication.
