Abstract:In this study, an optimized industry-environment model is proposed for identifying environmental risk under uncertainties. The strategy associated with an emission-permit trading mechanism has been introduced into the industrial-environment regulation (model) for remitting the pressures of frequent/severe haze events in Beijing City. A dual stochastic mixed fuzzy risk analysis method with Laplace's criterion (DSFRL) can be embedded into industry-environment issues with a trading emission-permit trading mechanism (IEST) for handling uncertainties regarded as possibility and probability distributions. Meanwhile, this can also reflect the environmental risks and corresponding system benefits due to the occurrence of a random event (such as random wind velocity). Based on the application of the proposed IEST with DSFRL, the numbers of the obtained results associated with production reduction, adjustment of industrial layout pattern, emission-permit transactions, pollutant mitigation and system benefits under various Laplace criterion cases can be analyzed. A tradeoff between production development and pollution mitigation based on the preference of policymakers can be used for rectifying current strategies with a sustainable mode, which can prompt an effort to confront air pollution
BackgroundUpregulation of heparanase has been reported in an increasing number of human cancer tissues. However, the level of salivary heparanase and its clinical significance in patients with salivary gland tumors remain unclear.MethodsSalivary heparanase levels in patients with salivary gland tumors were detected using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) and the clinical significance was evaluated by analyzing the correlations among salivary heparanase levels, clinicopathological parameters, and clinical outcomes.ResultsThe levels of salivary heparanase were significantly higher in patients with malignant salivary gland tumors than in benign tumors and normal controls (P<0.0001). High salivary heparanase levels were positively correlated with increased lymph node metastasis (P = 0.0235) and poorer tumor node metastasis stage (TNM) (P = 0.0183). Survival analyses revealed that high salivary heparanase levels were associated with worse overall survival (P = 0.0023) and disease-free survival (DFS) (P = 0.0025).ConclusionsThe study shows that salivary heparanase levels, as detected by the ELISAs, can be used to diagnose and provide an accurate prognosis for malignant salivary gland tumors. Salivary heparanase level was an independent predictor in patients with malignant salivary gland tumors.
Abstract-China's environmental law enforcement is in the perfect order. A special supervision mechanism is developed accordingly. Theory and effect of environmental law enforcement supervision require urgent analysis and reflections. In 2010, Supervision Measures after Administrative Enforcement of Environmental Laws were issued. In 2016, the first Central Environmental Protection Supervision Team was founded, symbolizing the perfecting process of China's environmental law enforcement supervision mechanism. In this study, specific theoretical connotation of China's environmental law enforcement supervision was analyzed. Differences of supervision from monitoring and inspection were illustrated. On this basis, effect and shortcomings of law enforcement supervision were analyzed and corresponding improvement suggestions were proposed, including perfecting the mechanism, reducing rights of regional enforcement supervision and accelerating institutionalization. Finally, it comes to conclusions. It accepts the establishment and development of China's environmental law enforcement supervision system, puts forward countermeasures against shortcomings, and evaluates the environmental law enforcement supervision system comprehensively.
Abstract-The paper, starting from the basis and connotation of environmental legal education in colleges and universities and through statistical analysis method and summarizing method, analyzes the status quo of environmental legal education in colleges and universities including unreasonable setting of courses on environmental legal system, lack of fund and serious loss of talents. Aiming at these current situations, it raises a series of feasible measures including increasing the proportion of environment law in Chinese judicial examination, increasing investment and perfecting course setting.
