With the increase of wireless services and devices, and the need to maintain their QoS requirements, the demand for spectral bandwidth has increased in recent years. The traditional spectrum allocation techniques have led to inefficient spectrum utilisation. In this project, we analyse a new paradigm called Dynamic Spectrum Access , using energy detection methods in case of real-valued and complex-valued signals. An energy efficient detection is also proposed in a distributed cognitive network for the case of a single SU and N PUs, where N>1. The cognitive radio network also has to pay a cost whenever a SU switches a channel. In this scenario, detection algorithms are also proposed absed on myopic approach.
Background: This study was intended to have a close look at the need of women in probation home and their health related aspects. The objective of the study was to obtain the socio-demographic profile of the inmates of probation home and to assess the health status of the study population. Methods: This was an institutional based cross sectional study which was carried out among the inmates residing in the probation home, Namkum, Ranchi. Data was collected using pretested semi-structured questionnaire on 14 January 2020 during a health camp. The questionnaire was designed to collect information on socio-demographic profile, health detail like co-morbid conditions, presenting complaint and findings of general examination. Data collected was entered in microsoft excel sheet and was analyzed using SPSS software version 20.Results: Out of total 54 inmates residing there, only 44 females willing to participate in the study were enrolled in the study, the response rate was 81.48%. More than two third (81.8%) population were of age group 15-25 years of age. Less than a half (45.5%) population had no formal education. On general examination we found that 75% were having mild to moderate pallor and 11.36% participants were underweight. More over the presenting complaint was also supportive that is weakness in 18.18% of participants. Conclusions: Based on our result we concluded that the population residing in the probation home was vulnerable to malnutrition and if not corrected may become susceptible to communicable and non-communicable diseases.
Wearable tracking gadget that school-age children can wear is the topic of this paper. It doesn't need any pricy technology to operate.. This technology is usable by persons of all educational levels. It has got two buttons one is alert button and another is panic button The major objective of this gadget is to ensure that the youngster may contact their parents in an emergency. The alert button allows the child to notify their parents of an emergency and provide their current location. For communication, the current technology includes Bluetooth, WI-FI, and RFID. It is hard to communicate across a great distance with these technologies because they only have a narrow range of coverage. Also they are not that accurate. This device solves the issue by utilizing GSM technology. Parents do not need to submit any special code to the device to determine the child's location's latitude and longitude. If a child is in any emergency situation and wants his/her parents to know their current exact location. If a child feels uneasy, there are two methods to let the parents know. The cell phone of the parents or guardian receives the alarm message via SMS by pressing alert button and if the child wants to communicate to parents immediately, a call can also be made via this device using the panic button and the child can talk to the parent in real time.
