This paper develops a decision support system for multi-factor based energy plant installation in various locations. As, the conditions to implement an energy plant in different locations varies a lot, therefore, based on these conditions specific type of power generation plant should be installed. But, because of environmental sustainability, social, and economical issues, some restrictions are imposed in building all types of power plants in every location which may create difficulties to satisfy the demand of energy for those locations. Thus, there must be a suitable methodology to decide the most appropriate power generation plant to be installed in the most appropriate place. In this respect, this paper develops an efficient process for building the most appropriate energy production plant based on intuitionistic fuzzy logic. The study is inspired by Sanchez's approach which was initiated to diagnose some medical conditions. The Sanchez's method is adopted here and utilized to obtain the degree of membership functions to choose the proper location for the proper plant. The entire methodology was illustrated with the algorithm and flowchart. To validate the model, data of seven Indian states are collected from several sources. The study concluded that the proposed methodology can obtain the degrees of appropriateness which specifies how much a specific power plant is suitable to be implemented in a particular location.
Abstract. This paper develops an efficient algorithm for selecting the most suitable and appropriate hybridized energy power plant using ”fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making” (MCDM) in Turkey. This research compares the findings of existing studies with energy hybridization. The study investigated the method of suitable location selection to install renewable energy power plants. Installation of an energy power plant is quite a difficult task as there are many factors such as availability of resources and environmental or social factors that significantly impact determining the best energy resource plant to be implemented. The purpose of this research is to extend the single-resource plant installation policy to multi-resource (hybridized) energy usage. An efficient algorithm is developed with the help of combination theory and combined fuzzy TOPSIS method to choose the best suitable alternative out of all possible single and hybrid energy resources in Turkey. All criteria, alternatives, and numerical values are chosen identically with the previous literature to compare the efficiency of the developed method. The result obtains the decision for the best hybridization along with the most suitable combination of various energy resources and sMAPE analysis. The results also supports the real situation of energy resources in Turkey.
In 1992 Narshima Rao launched the Look East Policy to tend towards south-eastern neighbours and also to connect with East Asia. The main goal of the Look East Policy is to increase economic cooperation and strategic defence cooperation to balance the growing Chinese domination over South-East Asia and the sea. In 2014, the Government of India would come up with a new phase of the Look East Policy and announced the Act East Policy that can be considered as the new age of economic development, industrialization, and trade. The Act East Policy and Look East Policy both have some similarity. The chapter analyzes the India-ASEAN trade activities after the formation of ASEAN bloc specifically from 2001 to 2018. To fulfil the objectives of study trade indices, similarity and diversification has been used. The study found that with changing framework of India's foreign policy for ASEAN, trade share of India and ASEAN in the bi-lateral arrangement significantly increased.
