In this paper, it is proposed the fault detection method of the ASIC, without the Test Requirement Document(TRD), extracting internal logic circuit and analyzed the function of the ASIC using the multipurpose development program and simulation. If there don't have the TRD, it is impossible to analyze the operation of the circuit and find out the fault detection in any chip. Therefore, we make the TRD based on the analyzed logic data of the ASIC, and diagnose of the ASIC circuit at the gate level through the signal control of I/O pins using the Dynamic Pattern signal. According to the experimental results of the proposed method, we is confirmed the good performance of the fault detection capabilities which applied to the non-memory circuit.
This paper presents an algorithm concerning the ground altitude measurement using a laser altimeter and an ultrasonic rangefinder for UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). A simple ground test conducted using the laser altimeter and ultrasonic rangefinder that are used for conducting the low altitude measurement of UAV and identify the characteristics of each sensor. Especially, the disadvantages of the laser altimeter were checked through the ground test. After that who those are participated in this paper planned the algorithm which is complemented by the ultrasonic rangefinder and the experiment was conducted. The laser altimeter and the ultrasonic rangefinder were fused by a loosely coupled method by Kalman filter. The paper shows that stable value of altitude complemented by the ultrasonic rangefinder that covers the laser altimeter's drawbacks can be measured through the ground test.
[Abstract]In the end of 1990's, future free flight technology had been developed and tested in America and government established the plan for free flight until 2017. Aircraft separation assurance must be secured essentially to avoid collision between aircrafts before Free Flight comes true. Now, Civil aircraft has rules about avoidance activity with traffic collision avoidance system (TCAS) but it can`t apply to light aircraft. So there is a need about alternative method to apply light-aircraft because it has space and price problem to use TCAS. In this paper, TCAS algorithm has been modified and verified by simulating with LABVIEW program under ADS-B condition to get miniaturization and weight lighting cheaply. By simulating, collision alert algorithm is analyzed and verified with collision situation proposed by ICAO, and 100% checked for performing the alert announciation on all cases by TCAS standards.
[Abstract]Recently a system is being required to replace ILS due to increasing air traffic. In this paper, Curved approach is applied to an airport where ILS approach cannot be applied due to its geographical condition and restricted aerospace condition, and verified by flight test. After analysing conditions of Tae-an airfield of Hanseo University with virtual ILS approach, airfield applicability was evaluated by Curved approach using by GPS. Normally simulation is performed after establishing approach procedure using electric map, but recently verification is being performed by flight test without simulation because accuracy and reliability are increased. In this paper, established procedure is verified modified by flight test with Pilot Test and Auto Pilot test and controllability and passenger's stability were also checked.
