Measurements of the j‐E characteristics of n‐InAs were performed in magnetic fields up to 22 kG at 300 K. In transverse magnetic fields above about 14 kG pronounced kinks in the characteristics were observed within the first few nanoseconds after application of the voltage pulse. In analogy to n‐InSb this behaviour is interpreted as an NDC instability. The existence of an NDC is supported by Monte Carlo calculations.
