070ChemInform Abstract The structures of the title compounds (I) and (II), prepared as described previously, are discussed on the basis of IR, Mössbauer, 13C and 14N NMR spectra and the results of magnetic measurements. In the high-spin complex (I) the anionic ligand s coordinated only via the nitroso nitrogen. The diamagnetic complex (II) contains chelating anions. A third complex investigated, which is paramagnetic, shows the same coordination behavior as (II), but contains two additional pyridine ligands in the outer coordination phere.
