In order to protect in case of fault on the Macagua-Callao-Claritas 400 kV line that supply energy to Eletronorte utilities in Brazil, a particular protection scheme was designed under a fault detection table, which allowed to evaluate the different scenarios in case of the internal and external fault. This scheme are made up of relays of distance and directional overcurrent in the three Substations (Macagua-Callao-Claritas), operating in a special permissive overreach scheme with weak infeed, using an optical fiber connection as communication way between each terminal for teleprotection equipments to send and receive the necessary permissive signals to activate the scheme. Additionally, for transient faults, the scheme has a single phase auto reclosing which increases the continuity of service of our customer Eletronorte in Brazil.communications for teleprotection equipments, safe, reliable and easy to adapt to any adjustment. -S/S Macagua -FG>_-* S/S Callao -S/S Claritas
