ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS DESIGN AND SUPERVISION OF CONSTRUCTION The Engineers for the Forth Road Bridge project were Messrs Mott, Hay and Anderson; Freeman, Fox and Partners were associated with them for the main bridge and approach viaducts. The Architect was the late Sir Giles Gilbxt Scott. Sir David Anderson was responsible for all work in connexion with the project until his death in 1953, after which the late Mr Vernon Bartlett, Sir Gilbxt Robzrts and Mr J. K. Anderson were the Partners chiefly concerned. The following individuals took a leading part in the various sections of the work.
