Introduction: This study was done to assess the information literacy of faculty members and PhD students in order to develop practical knowledge related to information literacy, in doing evidencebased care procedure at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Nursing and Midwifery Faculty. Methods: This cross-sectional study was done on 53 academic members and PhD students during the first semester of 2015-2016 at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Nursing and Midwifery Faculty. The data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire, which was completed by the samples and analyzed by the SPSS-22 software. Results: Average information literacy skill level for faculty members and students related to evidence-based care and information literacy standards was higher than the average index, except for "information exchange" standard (50 ± 10). The highest and lowest mean scores in evidence based care were for questions formation (96.18 ± 18.6.17 and 48.51 ± 14.69, respectively) and evaluation results (95.56 ± 6.66 and 45.94 ±14.08, respectively), respectively. For information literacy standards there were calculated for (respectively) finding information as the highest score for (95.56 ± 6.66 and 72.44 ± 13.62, respectively) and the lowest for information exchange (74.19 ± 11.83 and 48.51 ± 11.35, respectively). Conclusions: According to the results of this study and also considering that PhD students' and faculty members' information literacy level was above the average, it is recommended to develop optimal measures to promote evidence based decision making.
Cannabis (Cannabis sativa L.), commonly known as hemp, is an annual herb belongs to the family Cannabacea. The seeds of this plant have considerable content of oil and unsaturated fatty acids, and its fiber is used in the paper and textile industries. Tetrahydrocannabinol and cannabidiol are main cannabinoid compounds of this plant, which have high importance for their well-known pharmaceutical properties. Therapeutic effects of secondary metabolites of hemp on different diseases, such as cancer, Multiple Sclerosis (M.S.), and AIDS and their anxiety and palliative characteristics have been reported in several studies. Considering oil content, and therapeutic and industrial properties of the hemp as well as, its high diversity in Iran, more studies are needed to better recognize this plant and the economic production of its therapeutic compounds. In the present paper, a comprehensive review of agronomic, therapeutic and phytochemical characteristics of hemp is presented.

Received ABSTRACTBackground and objective: Health literacy represents an individual's capacity to acquire, interpret and understand the information necessary for the required services and make proper decisions in the field of health. Health literacy includes a set of skills reading, listening, analysis, decision-making and the ability to apply these skills in health situations that do not necessarily lead to years of schooling or public reading ability. Present study is aimed to determine the level of health literacy among medical and dental students in university of science in Rafsanjani. Methods: this is a measurement study. A number of 282medical and dental students I university of science in Rafsanjan were studied. To collect data the questioner of health literacy was applied which had been designed and psychometric by Montezari and et al (HELIA). And then data was analyzed. Results:The findings showed that mean and standard deviation of dentistry students (22.88 ± 3.49) years and mean and standard deviation of medical students were (22.16±2.5) years. Independent t-test did not show a significant difference between the mean age of medical students and dentistry students (p=0.742). In evaluating the dimensions of health literacy among dental and medical students of Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences The highest mean of health literacy dimensions in both fields related to the decision-making and behavioral dimension and the lowest mean in the field of dentistry was related to the assessment dimension (14.45 ± 2.46) and in the reading-related medicine category (14.99±3/00). Conclusion: findings suggested that the medical students have obtained higher average scores than dental student in term of health literacy. In aspects of health literacy highest average in both disciplines related to the decision-making and behavior related to the assessment and the lowest in dentistry and medicine are related to reading. Aims: Wound healing delay is a common complication of diabetes mellitus. Considering the antioxidant properties of the Launaea acanthodes, this study aimed to examine the effects of this plant on open skin wound healing in diabetic rats.
In Caspian Sea basin, sturgeons spend the larval and juvenile stages in freshwaters of rivers and then, they migrate to brackish waters of the sea where they grow and mature. With regard to the elevation of the metal concentrations in coastal waters and sediments of the Caspian Sea and its adjacent rivers, it is likely that juvenile sturgeon are exposed to sub-lethal levels of metals during seawater entry process. We compared the biochemical responses of juvenile European sturgeon, (Beluga, Huso huso) exposed to a sub-lethal level of copper (Cu, 20 μg/L) and cadmium (Cd, 300 μg/L) in freshwater (FW, 0 ppt) and brackish water (BW, 11 ppt) for seven days. The results showed that the levels of plasma glucose increased significantly in BW and in all metal exposed groups. Also, plasma cortisol concentrations showed significant increases when juveniles were exposed to BW, Cu(FW/BW) and Cd(BW). The activity of liver superoxide dismutase (SOD) decreased significantly in BW compared with FW. Moreover, Cu and Cd exposure enhanced the activity of SOD in BW, while SOD did not show any changes in FW. The levels of tissue and plasma proteins as well as plasma triiodothyronine (T3), thyroxine (T4) and liver Catalase (CAT) activity remained constant when animals were exposed to Cu/Cd in both FW and BW environments. Our data indicate that exposure of juvenile beluga to BW stimulated the general biochemical responses of stress such as cortisol and glucose, while sub-lethal exposure to Cu and Cd caused oxidative stress in BW environment but not in FW.
