Heart Disease are among the leading cause of death worldwide. The application of artificial neural network as decision support tool for heart disease detection. However, artificial neural network required multitude of parameter setting in order to find the optimum parameter setting that produce the best performance. This paper proposed the parameter tuning framework for artificial neural network. Statlog heart disease dataset and Cleveland heart disease dataset is used to evaluate the performance of the proposed framework. The results show that the proposed framework able to produce high classification accuracy where the overall classification accuracy for Cleveland dataset is 90.9% and 90% for Statlog dataset.
Telemedicine system requires an acceptable network quality of service and cost. IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN technology has been developed to provide scalable and low cost network. For telemedicine applications however, the technology does not fulfil the quality of service requirement yet. In order to overcome this problem, a new cross layer design of wireless LAN is proposed. The design is based on IEEE 802.11g standard with modification in datalink and physical layer. This has been implemented in NS2 simulation environment. The simulation has been performed to deliver the video data for telemedicine application. Simulation result shows that the new cross layer design has better network quality of service for PSNR (Peak Signal Noise Ratio) and delay values than the conventional wireless LAN. Thus, the new design has a potential to be used in telemedicine system.

Mainly in infrastructure deficient communities, telecardiology is considered as a complement to insufficient cardiac care. Telecardiology can reduce travelling and waiting time, enables information sharing in shorter time and facilitate care in rural and remote areas. A qualitative study examined the perspectives of health care providers: cardiologist and general physician and health care service receivers: patient and public towards telecardiology adoption. The barriers in telecardiology adoption were identified in this paper. It includes practicality of telecardiology, the need of education for staffs and administrators, ease of use, preferred face-to-face consultation, cost and confidentiality. Improvements can be done by the implementers based on this study in order to promote telecardiology successfully in Malaysia.

The increasing demand for electricity by customers caused by various factors such as WFH (work from home), the development of technology that requires electrical energy as its driving force and the increasing population growth rate makes PT. PLN as the main electricity provider need a solution to answer these problems by implementing a program same day service. PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Padang Panjang is the smallest service unit of PT. PLN (Persero) which organizes the Same Day Service program. The Same Day Service program is presented to cut service time to be more effective. The purpose of this research was to determine and analyze the Implementation of the Same Day Service Program and its inhibiting factors. This research used the theory of policy implementation proposed by George C. Edward III which consists of communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of the Same Day Service Program at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Padang Panjang has not run optimally. The inhibiting factors for the Same Day Service Program are the lack of socialization of the implementor to the program targets, the lack of human and financial resources and the mechanism set out in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) which does not pay attention to the inhibiting aspects in the program implementation process.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
