This study built on a sample of 384 small businesses located in the central area of Jordan. We perform an analysis of the influence of entrepreneurial networks on small business performance. The purpose of this study was to test and demonstrate empirically the role of government as a moderating variable in the relationship between entrepreneurial networks and small business owners' performance. The population of this study is small business owners who have participated in ERADA program of as much as 4906 small business. These results indicate that entrepreneurial networks have a significant effect on the performance of the small business owners. It provides an empirical explanation that entrepreneurial networks and government intervention can contribute to the improvement of small business owners' performance while the government's role is not proven moderate the relationship between entrepreneurial networks and small business owners' performance. The significant positive effects of entrepreneurial networks suggest that this variable is important in enhancing small business owners' performance. As such, small business owners should be inculcated with these entrepreneurial networks. In addition, government intervention should take into consideration of entrepreneurial networking when designing and conducting any entrepreneurship program.
This paper focused on the relationship between the four main dimensions of entrepreneurial thinking and the performance of 384 Jordanian companies. A survey of 384 small companies exposed the presence of a direct and positive relationship between the four dimensions of entrepreneurial thinking, namely identification of opportunity, risk-taking, tolerance ambiguity and creative and innovative, and performance. The findings highlighted the idea that the more the Jordanian companies identify their opportunities, accept the risk of success or failure, accept tolerance ambiguity and encourage the innovation, the more they will improve their performance. Furthermore, the outcome of the four relationships; innovation-performance, risk taking-performance, tolerance ambiguity-performance and opportunity identification-performance is enormous and statistically significant. This study offered references for enterprises of how their entrepreneurial thinking positively influences their performance.
The key goal of the study is the formation of scientific and methodological approaches to the analysis of modern models of economic development of countries. The features of the models of economic development of countries, their types and specifics are considered, the transformation of indicators of economic development of the countries of the world in the context of global imbalances and volatility is argued. It is proved that the key factor in the sustainable development of the country is economic growth, which ensures the overall well-being of both a separate industry and the country's economy as a whole. The specificity of the transformation of key indicators of the economic development of countries is considered; this served as the basis for substantiating the scientific and methodological aspects of the multidimensional cluster analysis of the target indicators of the economic development of the countries of the world. The scientific and methodological aspects of the multidimensional analysis of the transformation of the target indicators of the economic development of countries were formed, which ensured the structuring of countries into groups of economic development, taking into account the specifics of their functioning and development strategies. The application of the developed approaches based on the economic and statistical multidimensional cluster analysis and indicators of economic development of the countries of the world can be applied in practice. The developed scientific and methodological recommendations will ensure the effectiveness of the formation of economic policies and strategies for the economic development of countries.
