A B S~C T :A single-layer single-element probe-fed slotted patch antenna is proposed to feature a broad impedance bandwidth and low cross-polarization levels. Detailed investigations are presented through the results obtained using the method of moments technique. The Broad Band Triangle Slotted Patch antenna (BTSPA) proved many attractive features so that it is recommended to be used in wireless local area networks. The design of the antenna considers simplicity, compact size (77% of the other equivalent slotted plate antenna such as Brozcd band rectangle slotted plate antenna [l]), and low cost. It has highly directed radiation pattern plane with peak in the bore sight achieving great gain. The impedance bandwidth reaches up to the order of 20%. Both of the stable radiation patterns and the high gain levels (&??ore than 9.1 dB) are observed across the pass-band.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
