In this study, the usage of simple and verbs of compound tenses and the different forms of modals from standard Turkish is put forth with examples by benefitting from the work called The Dialects of Adıyaman Provincial and Vicinity. In addition, the related parts of the 109 compilations taken from the same work are searched and grouped under the titles of "Memories", "Personal Information", "Traditions and Customs", "Eating and Drinking Culture", "Social and Daily Life", "Sources of Income", "Tales, Stories and Saints". In the each group, frequency of the usage of verb modals are detected and statistics are presented as percentages in eight tables. In this way, the ralation between subject and verb modals is examined. As a result, in which forms the Turkish verb modals are used and the semantic relations of modals with compilation subjects are determined.
