Field studies were carried out during the growing season 2012-13 and 2013-14 at Banat's university of agricultural sciences and veterinary medicine, Timisoara, Romania to study the effect of foliar Fe, B and Fe+B fertilizer at two growth stages on growth, yield and nutrient concentration in flag leaves and grains of wheat. The treatments were laid out in randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. Two years average results show that treatment receiving 333g Fe ha-1 +167g B ha-1 at both growth stages ZGS21+ZGS41 produced the highest plant height (86.0 cm), flag leaf area (28.66 cm 2), chlorophyll content (58.0 SPAD value) and grain yield (518 gm m-2). All micronutrients (Fe, B and Fe+B) sprayed at both stages (ZGS21+ZGS41) significantly improved micronutrients concentration in wheat flag leaf and grains over control treatment.
Research has evaluated the contribution of minerals through soil and foliar fertilization on winter wheat yield, the purpose being to identify the interdependence relations for the optimization of the fertilization system. Two types of mineral and foliar fertilizers were tested. The complex mineral fertilizer of the type NPK (1:1:1) was used for achieving three differentiated nutrition levels: NPK 0 , NPK 30 (30 kg active substance ha -1) and NPK 60 (60 kg active substance ha -1). There are five types of foliar fertilizers applied and 18 experimental variants were studied. The research was conducted in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition (SSPN) and Mathematics and Statistics (MS),
The objective of the current study was to investigate the effect of soil and foliar application of some fertilizers on the yield and quality of table grapes cv. Alkdarri. Soil and foliar fertilizer application treatments included a control, Ca 200 g/vine, K 150 g/vine, N 200 g/vine, Ca 30 g/L, grow more INC fertilizer 10 g/L, K 20 g/L, and Cu 5 mg/L. Results indicate that soil and foliar fertilizer application increases quality and quantity of table grapes compared to control treatment. The highest berry diameter, a weight of 100 berries and a size of 100 berries were obtained in vines treated with Ca 200 g/vine, using the soil application method. The highest cluster weight was obtained in vines that were treated with K 150 g/vine, using the soil application method. The highest berry firmness was obtained in vines that were treated with K 20 g/L using the foliar application method. The highest pH and TSS were obtained in vines treated with Cu 5 mg/L, using the foliar application method. The highest fruit yield was found in vines that were treated with 150 g K.
