The development of information technology that is very rapidly grown nowa-days, particularly the development of information and communication technology enriches the development of the concept of learning based on blended learning. The characteristics of its apparatus, which can always be accessed anytime, any-where, multiuser and offers all its simplicity have made blended learning as a me-dium of instruction which is very appropriate for the development of education. One of the courses considered essential to utilize the information and communica-tion technology is a research statistics because the process of learning, this course has two fundamental parts which cannot be separated to one another, namely the-ory and practice. Thus, it needs a plan of learning activities which combine face-to-face learning and online-based learning interaction. The research was required to conduct to develop blended learning on research statistics course for the stu-dents of English Education Department of Teacher Training and Education Facul-ty of Borneo Tarakan University under a Research and Development by using the ADDIEβs model. The evaluation which was conducted to find out validity, prac-ticality, and effectiveness of blended learning drew three main conclusions: First, the design and development of learning devices were appropriate to be used as guidelines in implementing the learning process. Second, the process of learning was implemented in accordance with the plans and learning devices as well as a learning setting. Third, the studentsβ learning achievement was classically com-pleted. Thus, the blended learning was found to be valid, practical, and effective for the development of learning
The development model used is the Borg and Gall model of Sugiyono modification. In the Borg and Gall model, the Sugiyono modification consists of 10 stages, namely Potential and Problems, Data Collection, Product Design, Design Validation, Design Revision, Product Testing, Product Revision, Usage Testing, Product Revision and Mass Production. The media testing phase is done through 2 stages, namely the assessment of experts and user response. In the assessment of experts validated by material experts, media experts and linguists. While the user response was tested by 30 students and 2 mathematics teachers. The results of analysis shows that the kosami product developed based on validation by material experts obtained a feasible category with a percentage of 79.68%, media experts obtained the category of Very Eligible with a percentage of 92.72% and linguists obtained the Very Eligible category with a percentage of 83.33%.While the result of research in the field by the response of teacher user obtained a percentage of 75% with a Very Practical category, responses of student users obtained by 87,33% with a Very Eligible category, and responses of student users obtained by 90,67% with a Very Practical category . Because it has fulfilled the feasible and practical requirements of a Kosami learning media consisting of aspects of material feasibility, media feasibility, feasibility of language use, and practicality of user response, the kosami can be used as a feasible and practical learning media for students of clas VII SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan on Β Number Material.
The percentage of emotional intelligence that affects the mathematics learning achievement of class XI-MIA students of SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan during the Covid-19 pandemic (Corona Virus Desaster-19) was the purpose of this study. A quantitative approach with a survey method had chosen as the research method to answer the problem formulation. Questionnaires and documentation had chosen as data collection techniques. Proportionate random sampling had used to select the research sample from the class XI-MIA population of SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan had four classes consisting of 127 students. The research sample obtained was 96 students. Descriptive and inferential statistical analysis had chosen as the data analysis technique. Descriptive analysis was used to describe the research data obtained, while inferential statistical analysis was used to answer the problem formulation using hypothesis testing. Before carrying out the hypothesis test, the prerequisite assumptions were tested, showing that the data were normally distributed and had a linear pattern. Furthermore, the hypothesis test was obtained that π‘ππ‘π’ππ π‘π‘ππππ , which is 2.666 1.98525, means that emotional intelligence has a significant effect on learning achievement in mathematics. 0.07 is the value of the coefficient of determination which means that students' mathematics learning achievement during the pandemic is influenced by 7% by emotional intelligence.Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Mathematics Learning Achievement, during the pandemic.AbstrakBesarnya presentase kecerdasan emosional yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas XI-MIA SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 (Corona Virus Desaster-19) merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dipilih sebagai metode penelitian untuk menjawab rumusan masalah. Angket dan dokumentasi dipilih menjadi teknik pengumpul data. Proportionate random sampling digunakan untuk memilih sampel penelitian dari populasi kelas XI-MIA SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan sebanyak 4 kelas yang terdiri dari 127 siswa. Perolehan sampel penelitian sebanyak 96 siswa. Analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dipilih sebagai teknik analisis data. Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan data penelitian yang diperoleh, sedangkan analisis statistik inferensial digunakan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah dengan menggunakan uji hipotesis. Sebelum melaksanakan uji hipotesis dilakukan uji asumsi prasyarat, yang menunjukkan bahwa data telah berdistribusi normal dan berpola linier. Selanjutnya uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa π‘ππ‘π’ππ π‘π‘ππππ, yaitu 2,666 1,98525, yang artinya kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. 0,07 merupakan nilai dari koefisien determinasi yang berarti prestasi belajar matematika siswa pada masa pandemi dipengaruhi sebesar 7% oleh kecerdasan emosional.Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional, Prestasi belajar matematika, Masa pandemi
This study aims to find out how much percentage of each student's learning difficulties at number operations in solving the story problems in class VIII of Tanjung Palas State Middle School 2. This research was conducted in the odd semester of 2018/2019.This type of research is quantitative. The sampling technique used by Nonprobability Sampling with the type of Purposive Sampling sampling technique is the determination of samples with certain considerations, where the number of students sampled is 26 students. The results showed that the student learning difficulties with the highest percentage average score for students of Tanjung Palas 2 Public Middle School were operating indicators of 38.72% with a high category, followed by a principle of 43.59%, with a high category of concepts with categories 48.46% high, and 62.05% facts with a low category.
