is involved in the evaluation of state health policies and programs, with an emphasis on social determinants of health. Along with interests in health and education, Tessa has experience in organizational evaluation, child welfare advocacy, and juvenile justice reform. Tessa's plans for the future include completing a health policy research internship at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj, Romania over the summer, and returning to the University of Iowa Public Policy Center as a full time employee.
