Fisheries is a prominent sector in Bogor District, in line with its vision to be the most advanced district in Indonesia by becoming the biggest producer of both decorative and consumable fish. Total production of consumable fish has reached 112.781 tons and production of decorative fish has reached 242.520.230 seeds. Kelompok Mitra Posikandu is a group of fish breeder which is located in Minapolitan Area, Bogor District. The group was established in August 2016 with 23 members. The newly established group has several potencies to grow and expand, hence need a research to be carrried out. Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) methods were used in this research to analyze both internal and external factors. Alternative strategies for business expansion were explained with Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) method and further analyzed by using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP).
This paper discusses the knowledge creation process in one department, in a higher educational context, and the possible actions to take to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the knowledge creation system in it. We conducted a case study at one department of a university that strives to improve its innovations, in terms of their quantity and quality. We used a soft system methodology to investigate the knowledge creation system in the chosen department. From the study, we conclude that the department can be considered as a learning organization, within which its staff continually create, acquire and transfer knowledge. This department has a learning environment which is conducive, concrete learning processes, and leadership that reinforces learning. In the context of producing agroindustry innovations, the knowledge creation system in this department is considered to be less effective since it frequently happens more at individual or small group levels. To improve its effectiveness, the management may facilitate the institutionalization of knowledge creation processes at every phase of the interactions between tacit and explicit knowledge.
Kata kunci: MDS, indeks keberlanjutan, industri gula ABSTRACT Sugar is one of the potential plantation commodities from the agricultural sector in Indonesia. The huge population of Indonesia is causing high sugar consumption quantity every year. This condition is not supported by the national sugar high productivity, resulting in import of refined sugar. The purpose of this study is to measure the sugar industries' sustainability indexes to increase the improvement strategies priority. This study uses a Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) method with eight dimensions that consist of thirty-four attributes. The analysis is performed for two years, from 2012-2014 in the sugar industry as a case study in this study. Successive performance is considered in "good" condition, however the material dimension should be the priority concern in future improvement.
Stunting is a global incident. The Report Global Nutrition Targets 2025 estimates that around 171 million to 314 million children under five year are stunted and 90% of them are in Asian countries including Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to develop responsive prediction index models ofstunting in toddler in Indonesia. Development of the index model used mathematical formulations using the TPB / SDGs indicator and food environment indicators. Time series-aggregate data were selected 14 variables based on data availability from 34 provinces in Indonesia in the span of 4 years (2015 - 2018). Furthermore, the index validation used the backward regression method with IBM SPSS Statistics version 22. The results showed that households with malaria incidence per 1000 people (X3), the population literacy rate is ≥15 years(X10), households have access to proper sanitation services (X13), and all methods of CPR for married couple aged 15-49 years (X14) was a responsive predictor of stunting in toddler in Indonesia. The index model was stated by the equation Ŷ=67,464-0,318X_9-0,571X_14-0,186X_12 with a R2 value of 49.9% and Radj value of 44.9%. Regarding the results of this study, it is suggested to consider the fulfillment of access to household sanitation facilities, specifically in resident area and vulnerable groups such as malaria endemic areas, increasing literacy, especially maternal literacy, and increasing use of all CPR way for EFA aged 15-49 years.
Seaweed is a valuable agricultural commodity found in coastal and marine areas. The practice of seaweed cultivation is the livelihood of the coastal community. Today, seaweed is still traded in the form of raw materials, so the value is low. This article aims to provide an overview of the potential and future opportunities for seaweed agroindustry development. This study is qualitative research. The data collected is secondary data, obtained from a variety of literature related to the potential and development of seaweed. This review used a 5-step approach in analyzing articles namely 1) Database selection, 2) Keyword selection, 3) Article collection, 4) Inclusion/Exclusion criteria, and 5) Reviewing selected articles sea based on the highest value-added. Agroindustry that have the opportunity to develop is processed food. Processed foods have high value-added with low technology levels. Processed food can be produced by cultivating farmers to increase income. The results of this study can be used as information and reference for further research.
