Background. Knowledge management in successful sports organizations is associated with their sustainability, continuity, and achievement of long-lasting competitive sports results. Objectives. This study aims to identify athletic knowledge management and its role in achieving a competitive advantage in the sports work environment in Jordan. Methods. The study sample consists of (60) male and female students studying the Sports Organization and Management Course at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at Hashemite University. Due to the nature of the study, the quantitative approach has been used. Data has been collected by distributing a 2-domain questionnaire: the role of the athletic knowledge management in achieving the competitive advantage in the sports work environment and the contributions of the athletic knowledge management in improving the sports work environment. Results. The results show that 98% of the participants believed that knowledge management plays a crucial role in achieving a competitive advantage in the sports work environment and improving the sports work environment. Also, the results indicate that knowledge management plays a vital role in contributing to knowledge management operations and developing the sports work environment. Regarding gender, the results show no significant differences between males and females. Conclusion. Several significant recommendations have been made, i.e., providing physical and moral infrastructure as a priority by senior management to be taken into account to implement this concept and offering safe, stable, systematic, and programmed conditions for all courses to improve and develop the level of sports performance among workers.
The purpose of this study was to determine whether Physical activity could reduce violent behavior among undergraduate Sport Science students and may differ according to gender. The sample of study consisted of (80) male and female students of the expected graduating students in the Faculty at a rate of (%80) from the original community. a questionnaire consisted of (10) paragraphs was used. And after doing the suitable statistical treatments it was pin-pointed that practicing the sport activities has a big role in belittling the level of violence and at a very big degree amongst students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science in theHashemiteUniversity, and there are no differences between males and females. The researchers recommended with the necessity of preparing more studies about the phenomenon of violence for the different age stages.
The study aimed at identifying the quality of change management in Jordan Football Association from point view at referees, the study was conducted on a sample of (155). A measure was developed for the quality of change management in Jordan Football Association, the most important results were that the decision maker does not have creativity in the actual reality of Jordan Football Association, the most important recommendation were the need to convince decision makers and employees in the Football association of the importance of adopting change management and overcoming the concept of resistance to change.
The study aimed at identifying administrative workload and its relationship with psychological pressure among some coaches at fitness centers in Jordan. The study was conducted on a sample of (50). A measure was developed for administrative workload and its relationship with psychological pressure. The most important results were that the level of psychological pressure among coaches of both genders in some fitness centers in Amman was high and that the administrative workload has a strong correlation relationship with psychological pressure among the sample members. The most important recommendation were the need to reduce administrative workload of coaches of both genders as well as and the need to provide a suitable work environment in order to reduce that psychological pressure.
The study aimed to identify the leadership style and its role in raising the level of motivation among the leaders working in the Football Association in Jordan. The researcher used a special measure to ensure validity and stability of the procedure. The study sample included (54) administrative individuals in the association and after conducting the appropriate statistical analysis, it was found that there is a strong (correlation) between the democratic style and the application of an incentive system in the Football Association in Jordan. One of the most prominent recommendations is the need to provide all that is necessary for the establishment of internal regulations through which a system of incentives can be easily applied and provide fair opportunities to employees in this context.
