SUMMARY
Seven cases of a respiratory syndrome due to the inhalation of isocyanates have been presented. Six cases were due to exposure to T.D.I, and one due to exposure to M.D.I.
Four patients showed evidence of consolidation in their chest radiographs, which cleared moderately quickly on removal from exposure to isocyanates; one of them resulted from M.D.I. Eosinophilia was noted in two cases– 8% in one and 9% in the other.
