Background and objective: Peer learning is an efficient educational technique for nursing students. It equips them up for their future roles as instructors, promotes their psychomotor skills, and establishes their self-esteem. The current study aims to determine the effect of application of peer learning strategy on obstetric and gynecological nursing students' clinical performance. Methods: Quasi-experimental design was utilized. The study was carried out in the obstetric and gynecology skills lab at the Faculty of Nursing, Damanhour University, Albehera Governorate. It comprised a purposive sample of 160 undergraduate nursing students, enrolled in the Obstetric and Gynecology Nursing Department (second semester of the third year in academic year 2014-2015). They were equally randomly assigned to either one of two groups, intervention group (80) and control group (80). Three tools were used: First, a personal and academic questionnaire sheet. Second, students' performance observational checklist. Third, student feedback and satisfaction questionnaire. Results: It was shown that there was a statistically significant difference in clinical performance scores concerning the five tested clinical obstetric and gynecological procedures among the intervention and control group, where the intervention group was more satisfied and have positive feedback than the control group. Conclusions: Peer learning strategy is an efficient strategy in the improvement of nursing students' performance than traditional learning. The study recommended that implementation of peer learning strategy in clinical setting to increase the level of students' knowledge and clinical performance.

Stress has been recognized as a 20th century disease and donates to health problems worldwide, nursing students are exposed to numerous stressors during their studies and clinical training. Determining stress and coping strategies among them will have significant consequences for the nursing career. Aims: to illustrate level of stress and identify coping strategies among nursing students at Damanhour University, Egypt. Research design: A descriptive cross-sectional study was used. Setting: the study was conducted at faculty of nursing, Damanhour University, Egypt. Subjects and methods: A systematic random sampling of 400 nursing students at academic year 2018-2019. Results: Students perceived moderate level of stress, most commonly attributed to transportations and academic. The most frequently used coping mechanism was religious and acceptance. The study found that gender and living with family are good predictors of coping strategies. Conclusion: The nursing students were exposed to moderate stress due to different stressors. In response, they frequently used different strategies for coping and recommended the need for stress management programs and the provision of suitable support.

Background: In early March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) to be a global pandemic. This fatal disease      may have a severe impact on quality of life, personal resilience, and academic performance. Aim of the study: To assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the health-related quality of life, resilience, and academic performance difficulties among recovered patients in Egypt. Study Design: A descriptive exploratory cross sectional research design was used.  Study Settings: The current study was conducted among Egyptian subjects living in 27 governorates using an online survey method. Study Subjects: The study was carried out on a 405 Egyptian who were responded to the online questionnaire. Data collection tools: Health-Related Quality of Life, Personal Resilience and Academic Performance Difficulties among Recovered COVID – 19 Patients Assessment Survey Questionnaire was used which include five main parts (part I, & II to assess sociodemographic data, and history and risk factors, part III to Health-Related Quality of Life, part IV to assess personal resilience, and   part V to assess the academic performance).

Background: Women's health is mostly affected by their quality of life; when it comes to breast cancer in particular, the loss of a breast traumatically affects a women's quality of life. Health education and community health support are aids to improve these group health as well as their quality of life. The aims of this study are to determine aspects allied with quality of life among El-Beheira Governorate post-mastectomy women and assess the levels of women's satisfaction regarding mobile-based health education. Research design: a descriptive research design was used. Settings: This study was carried out in Damanhour Oncology Center (DOC). Subjects: this study was carried out on a convenient sample of 200 women. Data collection tools: data were collected using two tools: the women's structured interview questionnaire sheet and the Quality-of-Life Assessment Instrument (WHOQOL-100). Results: More than half of the studied women (56.0%) had poor quality of life, and the physical domain received the lowest percent score (45.24±16.07) followed by the spiritual domain (47.28±18.70). Conclusion: the study concluded that the Quality of life of post-mastectomy women on hormonal therapy may be positively affected in the domains of environment, and level of independence. Otherwise, it may be affected negatively in physical and spiritual health domains. Women were satisfied by the mobile-based health education delivered to them. Recommendations: Mobile-based health education must be intensified to raise public awareness and raise their QoL. Health education interventions to improve the quality of life of post-mastectomy women should be focused on the physical and spiritual health domains.
