Local wisdom included cultural patterns of interpretation of certain localities, pure values, and unwritten norms, which serve the social life of a community and environment to regulate. The head of the ethnic groups in the community makeup but worries that the local wisdom are in danger lost to go. This article describes the current state of local wisdom as a cultural pattern of interpretation on the Luang Island - Indonesia. In addition, the manners, customs, and traditions of the community on the island are observed and an interview with four teenagers and ahead of the community is performed. The results of the observation and the interview are then presented and analyzed. The analysis has shown the following: (a) there are several local wisdom, which the harmony of the life of the community on the Luang island and the environment build may, for example, "urgeni, te'wa, hrukwu mnyota, hlili mnyota, lyola" (b) the local wisdom has one long tradition in the community. However, this seems lost to go because of the way of life of the local population. As a result, the valuable wisdom is in a “culture shift” situation. The local wisdom should to be used in the classroom, so that students as young generation be sensitized and note taking this wisdom.
This study aimed to determine the effect of the Kahoot! educational game learning media on German language students' learning outcomes in the Sprechfertigkeit 2 course. The sample of this study consisted of 37 students. The test instruments were given during the pretest and posttest. The data were processed and analyzed by the SPSS program. The Cronbach Alpha validity test showed that the study had high validity (0.764). The instrument normality test shows the value of p alpha (0.05). The statistical test resulted that the value of t-test=631 (t-table=398). The study revealed a significant effect of the Kahoot! educational game learning media on learning outcomes of German students in Sprechfertigkeit 2.
This quasi-experimental study was conducted with the aim of obtaining a clear picture of the presence of influence of the application of Stationenlernen learning techniques to the learning outcomes of German students. The study population was all of these students, while the selected sample was 11th grade students. Data collection techniques used in this study are: (1) observation and interviews, (2) the implementation of pre-test (3) the implementation of experiments, and (4) the implementation of post-test, the data obtained are calculated and analyzed using SPSS -18 to obtain accurate and reliable calculation results. Learning outcomes with Stationenlernen learning techniques turn out to be higher than without it.
This critical review aims to describe the integrity of paraphrasing the theory or references and scientific journals that become references. The contribution of this research is as a reference and input to develop the creativity of critical thinking of the quoters. The method used is listening and analyzing the journal's contents as a source of data; critically identifying the parts of the journal containing quotations, direct quotations, and paraphrasing of the theories being referenced. The results of the critical review show several weaknesses, including several quotes that are not accompanied by relevant data and references, errors in citing reference sources. In addition, quotations or paraphrases have paid attention to the integrity of meaning with several techniques, namely complete and partial paraphrasing techniques. Partial is divided into two; according to the research formulation, the theory is paraphrased and several points of the combined theory are paraphrased because they are closely related and complementary. This critical review implies that it is a follow-up study to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of a scientific article based on relevant theories, studies, and previous research results.
This paper aims to express efforts to use comparative literary works as a medium in language learning, and at the same time as a means for the formation of the character of learners. The benefits of comparative literature, among others: (1) as the basis of the study of cross-cultural literary works, (2) as the basis or basis of language skills learning (Sprachfertigkeiten) namely: listening (Hӧrverstӓndnis-Sprechfertigkeit), reading-writing (Leseverstӓndnis-Schreibfertigkeit), (3) as a means of strengthening character education. As the basis for cross-cultural text studies, comparative literary works can be used to compare cultures between nations. As the basis of language learning, comparative literary works, has a uniqueness that is not possessed by other linguistic teaching materials, because the language of literary works has a connotative characteristic (figurative), contains majas, and prioritizes the characteristics of narrative discourse. Language in literary works prioritizes its main function, which is communicative function and suitable to be used to teach language skills. Furthermore, as a means of strengthening character education, literary works are worthful, which can be used to provide value strengthening for learners as the future generation of the nation.
