A wideband self‐packaged bandpass filter is investigated with a compact footprint in this paper. Quarter‐wavelength stripline resonators are deployed with coplanar waveguide structures in a multilayered structure. The demonstrated 8‐pole prototype has a center frequency of 12 GHz, a 50% fractional bandwidth and a compact footprint of 0.22 by 0.28 wavelength square of 12 GHz in the free space. Measured results show that the proposed filter has a miniature size, high selectivity and small losses. It is a promising candidate for the wideband wireless system.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
