Objective: To evaluate the incidence of deaths from intracranial hemorrhage, in the population aged 60 to 79 years, in the state of São Paulo, between 2014 and 2019. Methods: Observational, cross-sectional, descriptive and retrospective study, carried out through data collection on the Department's platform Information System of the Unified Health System (DATASUS). Results: There was an increase of 27.36% in the incidence of deaths in men aged 60 to 69 years, from 2014 to 2019, in all ethnic groups studied. White ethnicity had a high of 25.44%; black, increased by 144.44%; while the brown, expanded by 87.50%; the yellow one, reduced by 3 deaths in the period. From 70 to 79 years, in the years between 2014 and 2019, deaths in males of all ethnicities increased by 16.99%. In white ethnicity, it increased by 15.22%; in black, 175.00%; in the brown race, it grew 54.17%, while the yellow race reduced its incidence by 50.00%. In females, aged between 60 and 69 years, from 2014 to 2019 deaths with all ethnicities grew by 60.97%. White ethnicity had an increase of 61.29%; the black, in 66.67%; in brown, there was an addition of 156.52%; and in yellow, 100% growth. Among women aged 70 to 79 years, from 2014 to 2019, there was an increase in deaths in all ethnic groups, accounting for an increase of 14.08%. In the white ethnic group, it grew by 43.05%; while black, expanded by 100%; the brown reduced by 9.68% and the yellow one had an increase of 100%. Conclusion: White men aged 60 to 69 years have a higher incidence of deaths due to intracranial hemorrhage.
