This study aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction on work engagement in hospital employees. The study sample was taken from permanent employees at the SP Hospital in West Sumatra with a total number of subjects as many as 285 people, sampling was done by proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is the result of an adaptation of a pre-existing measuring instrument by changing the measuring instrument to Indonesian. Work engagement is measured using the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES), while job satisfaction is measured using the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire. Based on the results of data analysis conducted, the hypothesis was accepted, there was a significant effect between job satisfaction on work engagement in hospital employees, as indicated by the t-value of 10.681 with a significance of 0.000 (p <0.05). The contribution of job satisfaction to work engagement is 28.7% and the rest is influenced by other variables.
The research purpose to determine the relationship between organizational climate and work family balance in certified teachers in married women in SMP N 2 Sawahlunto. The independent variable in this research is organizational climate and the dependent variable is work family balance. The sampling tecnique in this research use saturated sampling technique. The sample in this study were 33 certified teacher in married women in SMP N 2 Sawahlunto. The validity and reliability test in this study uses the alpha cronbach technique. The result of the validity coefficien on the scale of organizational climate moves from rix= 0.326 to rix= 0.742 with a reliability coefficient of α = 0.915 while on the work family balance move from rix = 0.304 to rix = 0.726 with a reliability coefficient of α = 0.904. Based on data analysis, a correlation value of 0.671 that is with a significance level of 0.000, which means the hypothesis is accepted. This shows that there is a significant relationship organizational climate and work family balance in certified teachers in married women in SMP N 2 Sawahlunto. This study aims to determine the relationship between Job Characteristics and Cyberloafing Behavior among Educational Staff at the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau at Andalas University. The independent variable in this study is Job Characteristic and the dependent variable is Cyberloafing. The measuring instrument used in this study was saturated sampling technique. The sample in this study were 45 employees of the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau at Andalas University. Validity and reliability tests in this study used the Aplha Cronbach technique. The results of the validity coefficient on the Job characteristic scale move from rix = 0.347 to rix = 0.657 with a reliability coefficient of α = 0.843. Meanwhile, on the cyberloafing scale, it moves from rix = 0.331 to rix = 0.670 with a reliability coefficient of α = 0.898. Based on data analysis, the correlation value is 0.434 with a positive direction, with a significance level of 0.003, which means that the hypothesis is accepted. This shows that there is a significant positive relationship between job characteristics and cyberlaofing.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri dan dukungan sosial keluarga dengan kematangan karir pada siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 191 orang siswa kelas XII SMK Negeri 3 Kota Padang. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah skala kematangan karir, skala konsep diri dan skala dukungan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan antara konsep diri dan dukungan sosial dengan kematangan karir. Konsep diri memiliki korelasi positif secara signifikan dengan kematangan karir (r = 0,601, p = 0,000), dukungan sosial keluarga juga memiliki memiliki korelasi positif secara signifikan dengan kematangan karir (r = 0,533, p = 0,000), serta nilai korelasi antara konsep diri dan dukungan sosial keluarga secara bersamaan dengan kematangan karir sebesar 0,642 (p = 0,000).
This study aims to determine the relationship between Self Esteem and Social Anxiety in Adolescents with Low Socioeconomic Status in SMA N 1 Talamau. The independent variable in this study is Self Esteem and the dependent variable is Social Anxiety. The measuring instrument used in this study is the Self Esteem and Social Anxiety scale. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 53 students of SMA N 1 Talamau. Validity and reliability tests in this study used Alpha Cronbach technique. The item difference index on the Self Esteem scale moves from rix = 0,376 to rix = 0,734 with a reliability coefficient of α = 0,937 while on the Social Anxiety it moves from rix = 0,396 to rix = 0,798 with a reliability coefficient equal to α = 0,945. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between Self Esteem and Social Anxiety, with a correlation value (r) of -0.718 with a significant level of 0.000, which means that the hypothesis is accepted. This shows that there is a significant negative relationship between Self Esteem and Social Anxiety in Adolescents with Low Socioeconomic Status in SMA N 1 Talamau.
