Evaluating the assemblability at the design stage is important because of the cost competitiveness of company. However by compared results of the sequence of bottle neck process of production stage, the Lucas DFA (Design for assembly) and Boothroyd & Dewhurst DFA is not enough to evaluate the assenblability accurately. Therefore, in this paper, we proposed three design factors which is affecting assembly but not mentioned at DFA. These design factors would help the designers to evaluate assemblability and improve the productivity.
We investigated the effect of post-thermal processing on the gate oxide reliability in nitride/W/WNx/polycrystalline-Si (poly-Si) gated metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) capacitors. As the thermal processing became severer, grater development of mechanical stress and degradation of the gate oxide were observed. Microvoids were also found at the triple point between the gate oxide and two poly-Si grains. The wide variation in mechanical stress during post-thermal processing is believed to create the microvoids and generate additional dangling and strained bonds in the oxide and at the SiO2/Si interface, resulting in the degradation of the gate oxide.
We studied the effect of selective oxidation conditions on gate oxide characteristics. Selective oxidation in hydrogen-rich wet ambient at 850°C–950°C was found to generate defects both at the SiO2/Si interface and in oxide bulk, resulting in a higher stress-induced leakage current. The degradation of the device can be explained by the incorporation of hydrogen into the gate oxide during a high-temperature selective oxidation process. The plasma reoxidation process induced fewer defects due to radical oxidation at low temperature.
This research suggests a game model for companies who have difficulty in implementing cost accounting system, also, for the companies that do not have cost accounting system. This cost accounting game includes main game board, sub game board and each division board which has a magnetic character, so it could be moved flexibly. By using this game, every company can design their own cost accounting system. Furthermore, this game has account book, so that every player can obtain the best ability of calculating production cost.
In order to be cost competitive in the consumer electronics industry, it is needed to estimate product costs earlier in the design phase. In this study, we reviewed quality and quantity cost estimation techniques to develop a cost estimation system. The qualitative cost estimation technique is used to store expert's knowledge in the form of rules or a decision tree, and quantitative cost estimation techniques is used to extract a similar cost basis based on historical cost data of products. Also, we developed a cost comparison system using these two methods.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
