Abstract:This study investigated the relationship of political instability with the stock prices. Results of the study indicated the negative relationship of stock prices with political instability. Moreover, results of suggested that instable political system ultimately leads decline in stock prices. Inflation has shown negative relationship with stock prices whereas, industrial production and Exports have positive relationship with stock prices.
The asymmetric unit of the title complex, [NiBr(NO){P(C6H5)3}2], comprises two independent molecules each with a similar configuration. The NiII cation is coordinated by one bromide anion, one nitrosyl anion and two triphenylphosphane molecules in a distorted BrNP2 tetrahedral coordination geometry. The coordination of the nitrosyl group is non-linear, the Ni—N—O angles being 150.2 (5) and 151.2 (5)° in the two independent molecules. In the crystal, molecules are linked by weak C—H⋯Br hydrogen bonds and weak C—H⋯π interactions into a three-dimensional supramolecular architecture.
Current study aims at identifying the firm level and country level determinants of liquidity in listed firms of chemical products and pharmaceutical sector at PSX. The data sample consists of 36 firms over a period of five years ranging from 2013 to 2017. A panel OLS regression with robust standard errors is used to estimate the relationships. Results proved a positive and significant impact of debt maturity, profitability and risk on liquidity. Capital structure and asset tangibility turned out as significant negative influencer of current ratio. All the three macroeconomic variables had a significant role in defining liquidity position. However, GDP influenced liquidity positively but KIBOR and CPI had negative influence.
