The study provides support that aripiprazole, olanzapine, quetiapine, and risperidone augmentation therapy could be effective in reducing psychiatric service utilization among MDD patients.
Multiple classifier system trains different classifiers and combines their predictions to improve the accuracy of classification. This paper explains the popular algorithms and strategies in multiple classifier system, and points out the key factors to affect the performance of the application of multiple classifier system. The experiments are carried out on given environmental audio data in order to compare the singular classifier methods with multiple classifier system such as Random Forest and MCS, as well as Bagging and AdaBoost. The experimental results show that the multiple classifiers technology outperforms the singular classifier and obtains better performance in environmental audio data classification. It provides an effective way to guarantee the performance and generalization of classification.
In this study, effects of polymer-cement (P/C) ratio, glass transition temperature (Tg); amounts of functional monomers (acrylic acid, hydroxypropyl methacrylate, ammonium polyacrylate, diacetone acrylamide) on properties of polymer cement mortar were investigated. According of the tensile test, breaking elongation (ε) and the tensile strength (δ) of polymer latex-cement composites with low P/C ratio were mainly depended on Tg, differential Tg value between layer and shell in acrylic latex (ΔTg) and the amounts of functional monomer. Additionally, at a low P/C ratio, it was found that the cross-linking rate had small effect of tensile property. It was determined that the waterproofing coatings III with a low P/C (0.12) showed the excellent tensile property when the Tg and the ΔTg of the acrylic latex were controlled at -24°Cand -20°C, respectively.
The influence of the chemical structures of styrene/butyl acrylate/hydroxyl propyl methacrylate emulsion on some properties of ordinary Portland cement concretes has been investigated as concrete curing agent. The structural parameters that are varied included the fractions of HPMA and the polymer structure of the shell-core. The result of the study showed that the hydroxyl monomer HPMA played an important role on the improvement of water retention and the optimal proportion is about 5 wt% of the polymer. In addition, the shell-core structure of the emulsion with HPMA located in shell polymer can further enhance the water-retention rate. Besides, the emulsion with hydroxyl groups could smooth the surface of the concrete, inhibit the carbonation and had positive influence on the compressive strength.
Concrete structures are exposed to carbonation that may cause rapid decay, shortening their service life and raising maintenance and repair costs. Carbonation lowers the alkalinity of the concrete depassivating the steel reinforcement. The prescriptive methodology is not a guarantee to obtain the desired service lives of 50 or 100 years. Surface treatment is commonly used to improve the resistance of concrete to carbonation. Using the silicone materials to an immersion treatment can effectively block the invasion of harmful substances, the carbonation of concretes with surface protection with silicone materials was evaluated. The results showed silicone can lower carbonation depth than the non-protected concretes. The carbonation depth will not increase significantly in the latter part of the concrete service.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
