A series of isodeoxypodophyllotoxin (5) analogues, 26-38, with various isoprene-derived side chains at the E-ring were designed and synthesized. For comparison, compound 39, with a benzyloxy group on the E-ring, and six D-ring opened analogues, 40-45, were also prepared. All the synthetic compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxic activities in vitro against seven cultured human tumor cell lines. Compounds 27, 43, and 44 were more cytotoxic than etoposide on BEL-7404, A549, and HL-60 cell lines, respectively. However, none of the synthetic isodeoxypodophyllotoxins were more cytotoxic than podophyllotoxin (1).
It is difficult to get a theoretic answer to the water flow load features of high dam flood discharge. Through direct measurement of water flow load features by arranging a surface pressure cell, the complicated point-surface conversion was avoided, and the shock load and surge load features were obtained. For the dam body outlet wall pressure, isolated the fluctuating load applied to the plunge pool floor and the downstream dam surface, the impact of the fluctuating load to the arch dam dynamic response at the flood discharge flow outlet was obtained, and then the equivalent fluctuating load on each discharge flow outlet was obtained by using flow-induced vibration back analysis. The test shows that the energy of the shock load and the surge load mainly centers in a frequency range between 0~1Hz, the shock load is about 2.5-6 times that of the surge load, and the surge load is about 4 times that of the outlet wall pressure.
The influences of Portland cement substituted by slag powder in a high proportion (50% and 70%) on the chloride penetration resistance of concrete were studied. The results show that: the penetrability of Portland cement concrete reduced by one grade if 0.5% water reducer is added, but the water binder ratio is not the decisive factor for the permeability. There is a negative correlation between 6h electric flux and compressive strength only when concrete with same cementing materials. High volume slag powder concrete has excellent resistance to chloride ion permeability, which declines further with the increment of slag powder quantity added, the permeability coefficient of the concrete with 50% and 70% content of slag powder is as low as 27.8%~32.3% that of Portland cement concrete.
There are many uncertainty factors which can influence the carrier pile design and construction, some of them can lead the deformation characteristic of carrier pile more complex, especially the carrier pile shape parameter. Based on the on-site testing results and the finite element simulation conclusion, the paper studied the effects of shape parameter on deformation characteristics of the carrier pile from the aspect of bottom head size, pile diameter size, gravel soil zone size, etc. The research found that increase the size of the bottom head and the size gravel soil zone can reduce the amount of deformation to a certain extent; the effect of pile diameter size increase on reducing the deformation is not obvious.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
