This study develops site selection criteria for coastal tourism facilities in Taiwan. It discusses Taiwan's need for coastal tourism facilities as a participant in an interrelated world community, and how its expanded utilization of leisure time will encourage tourism while innovatively contributing to the country's well-being. Site selection criteria for coastal tourism facilities focus on ecological and cultural issues, diverse as site selection and conservation of Taiwan's natural and cultural heritage. A cumulative list of success factors serving seaside tourism, developed for site selection. The study also uses a decision tree presents evaluative findings. The process of selection criteria for coastal tourism facilities will contribute to coastal area tourism while enhancing Taiwan's quality of life and serving as a resource in the field of Tourism.
