RESUMOLevando em conta toda a complexidade do plantio do algodão, este artigo irá apresentar o processo de construção de um sistema eletrônico capaz de auxiliar os produtores com relação ao desenvolvimento vegetativo e reprodutivo desta planta, considerando também seu comportamento em diferentes tipos de condições climáticas. Esse sistema ou mecanismo é responsável por calcular a quantidade de produtos ou substâncias controladoras do crescimento do algodoeiro com base na sua altura e, também, controlar o tempo de abertura dos bicos injetores destas substâncias. ABSTRACTTaking into account the complexity of cotton planting, this article will present the process of building an electronic system capable of assisting producers with regard to the vegetative and reproductive development of this plant, also considering their behavior in different types of climatic conditions. This system or mechanism is responsible for calculating the quantity of products or substances controlling the growth of the cotton based on its height and also to control the opening time of the injectors of these substances.
