A novel nitrate- and selenite reducing bacterium strain ZYKT was isolated from a rice paddy soil in Dehong, Yunnan, China. Strain ZYKT is a facultative anaerobe and grows in up to 150, 000 ppm O2. The comparative genomics analysis of strain ZYKT implies that it shares more orthologues with B. subtilis subsp. subtilis NCIB 3610T (ANIm values, 85.4–86.7%) than with B. azotoformans NBRC 15712T (ANIm values, 84.4–84.7%), although B. azotoformans NBRC 15712T (96.3% 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity) is the closest Bacillus species according to 16S rRNA gene comparison. The major cellular fatty acids of strain ZYKT were iso-C14:0 (17.8%), iso-C15:0 (17.8%), and C16:0 (32.0%). The polar lipid profile consisted of phosphatidylethanolamine, diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol and an unidentified aminophospholipid. Based on physiological, biochemical and genotypic properties, the strain was considered to represent a novel species of the genus Bacillus, for which the name Bacillus oryziterrae sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is ZYKT (=DSM 26460T =CGMCC 1.5179T). Strain ZYKT can reduce nitrate to nitrite and ammonium and possesses metabolic genes for nitrate reduction including nar, nap and nrf. Biogenic selenium nanoparticles of strain ZYKT show a narrow size distribution and agree with the gaussian distribution. These selenium nanoparticles show significant dose-dependent inhibition of the lung cancer cell line H157, which suggests potential for application in cancer therapy.
Evolutionary algorithm has gained a worldwide popularity among multi-objective optimization. This paper proposes a novel multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on the fuzzy similarity measure. First, the best solution of every objective among the multi-objectives is obtained and they are regarded on as the referenced vector. Second, the fuzzy similarity measure between every individual and the referenced vector is solved and the fuzzy similarity measure is acted as fitness of the individual. Moreover, the pareto optimal sets are solved by means of adaptive genetic algorithm. The variety of population is kept by means of adaptive probability of crossover and mutation. At last, the algorithm is used to optimize the design parameters of cylinder helical compression spring. Simulation examples show the effectiveness of the approach proposed.
To South-to-north water transfer project as the background, and based on the Peck formula, this paper educes the formula of settlement and internal force which caused by disturbance of the tunnel of the buried pipeline. Considering the different depths of the buried pipelines, the different diameter of the tunnel, the spacing interval between different tunnels and the depth of different tunnels and so on, this paper analyzes the effect of the twin-parallel-tunnels passing through construction on buried oil & gas pipeline. The research shows that the tunnel diameter has no effect on the width of surface subsider and the deflection of buried oil & gas pipelines, but it has great influence on pipeline internal forces. The spacing interval of tunnel has almost no influence on pipe deflection but has effect on the maximum internal force. Different depths of the tunnel contributes much to the rule of pipeline settlement and the distribution of internal forces, and it has greater influence on the internal force than on the pipe deflection . The relationship between the effect and the depth of the tunnels is non-linear. With the tunnel depth increasing, the hazardous conditions of the pipelines show significant improvement.
For singular networked control systems (SNCSs) with uncertain time-delay, the problem of robust control is studied. The SNCS can be modeled as a class of uncertain discrete linear system with uncertain delay. Sufficient condition, which ensures the resulted loop-system to be asymptotic stability with performance index , is derived.Furthermore, the explicit formation of dynamical output feedback controller is also presented. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the effective of the presented method.
Based on the characteristics of wavelet coefficients of images and fuzzy similarity measure, a novel image quality assessment is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the reference image and the distorted images are decomposed into several levels by means of wavelet transform respectively. The approximation and detail coefficients of the reference image (the distorted images) are as the reference sequences (the comparative sequences). Secondly, select the right membership function to map the referenced sequences and the comparative sequences to a membership value between 0 and 1 respectively. And calculate the fuzzy similarity measure values between the reference sequences and the comparative sequences respectively. Moreover, image quality assessment matrix of every distorted image can be constructed based on the fuzzy similarity measure values and image quality can be assessed. The algorithm makes full use of perfect integral comparison mechanism of fuzzy similarity measure and the well matching of discrete wavelet transform with multi-channel model of human visual system. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can not only evaluate the integral and detail quality of image fidelity accurately but also bears more consistency with the human visual system than the traditional method PSNR.
