The results, indicate that the level of education, license status, working period, socioeconomic status and employment type of female workers were lower than those of male workers. Factors that have the greatest influence on job performance are grade of disability, status of disability, economic activity status, and instrumental activities of daily living (p<.05). CONCLUSION: It is necessary to provide socially stable employment support and social policy support without discrimination to allow disabled female workers to return to work and maintain their jobs and to study factors influencing job performance further.
This study was conducted to find out the effects of neurocognitive rehabilitation therapy on the swallowing function and quality of life of stroke patients. METHODS: Thirty patients were selected and randomly allocated into an experimental and a control group. Patients in the experimental group received 15 minutes of neurocognitive rehabilitation treatment combined with 15 minutes of traditional treatment. For the control group, patients received 30 minutes of traditional dysphasia treatment. The experiments were conducted for 30 minutes a day, five times a week, for four weeks. New VFSS and SWAL-QOL were administrated to evaluate the outcomes.
PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of cognitive orientation to daily occupational performance (CO-OP) interventions on the upper extremity function and occupational performance in subacute stroke patients. METHODS: A total of 30 eligible stroke patients were randomly distributed into the CO-OP experimental group (n = 15) and the traditional occupational therapy (OT) control group (n = 15). The CO-OP approach was applied for twelve 60-minute sessions. This study examined the impact of functional group cooking activities on the depression and interpersonal relationships of stroke patients with psychological impairments. METHODS: Ten stroke patients were divided into an experimental group and a control group and participated in this study from October 2015 to January 2016. The experimental group and control group each comprised five stroke patients.
