Smart homes are intelligent integrated environments, which provide residents with various and convenient automated service based on wired or wireless network using interface of home appliances, sensors and systems in living space. Context-awareness technology is essential to recognize the inhabitants' context of in smart home research. This paper presents a simulator in a virtual space with virtual sensors and a virtual user for context-awareness in a living space. User data generated by the presented simulator is trained through an SVM Classifier; as a result the user activity reasoning model based on context-awareness in a virtual space was created.
The purpose of this study is to set the direction of development of marine safety by introducing SMART Policing, which is currently being introduced by police organizations around the world, to Coast Guard responsible for marine safety.
The maritime police in Korea are growing rapidly along with the growth of the country. Coast Guard are at a new turning point due to changes in the times and the development of science and technology. As information technology and science and technology develop rapidly, such as the 4th Industrial Revolution, Coast Guard must also apply it systematically and policy atically and change it.
Various and convergent technological upheavals in the 4th industrial era should also be applied to Coast Guard to develop with the development of various fields of society and minimize trial and error in the process of change. In addition, it is important to analyze and apply the disaster environment as a smart security decision making method used by advanced countries as a valid theoretical framework and activity model to improve the method of decision making and accident prevention at marine sites.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
