The development of electronic devices has recently led to many problems such as personal information rape and leakage of business information. Conventional loud-speakers have been generally used to output devices. It can be, however, operated as a micro-phone which was abused as a means for eavesdropping since the speaker and microphone have basically the equivalent structure. Most importantly, the general peoples are not aware of the approaching danger about using speaker as microphone. And, traditional eavesdropping detection equipment does not check the attack. In this paper, we demonstrate that there is a serious danger and vulnerability in using loud-speakers since they can be used as eavesdropping devices.
Abstract. ICT has evolved into a connected car business, in which a vehicle platform and traffic services are being converged. Wireless communication is essential to provide real-time traffic safety and information for drivers and vehicles. For this purpose, V2X (Vehicle to Everything) has been introduced. However, it needs a lot of efforts to secure a stable and economical frequency on the limited frequency resources. In order to stimulate a connected car industry, this paper analyze a possibility to apply an open spectrum for connected car business through an expert interview, and propose an open spectrum policy to apply a TVWS(TV-White Space).
Recently, as an interest in strongly contagious infectious diseases such as MERS increases, proper infectious disease
management system in which ICT is incorporated into each process of the spread of infectious diseases. The scope of analysis is limited to the infectious diseases that flow from a country into the other country through air transportation. The process encompassing from the entry to the eradication of an infectious disease is classified into 5 stages (airport, transportation of patients, medical institutions, self-isolation, and waste disposal), and a journey map is suggested. Subsequently, an efficient infectious disease management system in which ICT is introduced to each stage is proposed. This study has significance in that it has unprecedentedly analyzed the entire spreading process of infectious disease from the process-centered perspective, and is expected to suggest a new convergence direction of ICT.Keywords: ICT, IoT, Infectious disease management system, Health care system, Convergence, Journey map.
